Today, Apogee Entertainment and developer Fuzzy Socks Studios announced that Rising Heat, the physics-driven horde survival bullet-hell roguelike, will now commence its launch in late Q1 2026. The team is taking additional time to sharpen the game's fast, momentum-driven combat and ensure every run delivers the relentless twin-stick action fans expect. Rising Heat is a physics-driven horde survival shooter where movement is your firepower. Pilot high-speed aircraft through alien swarms, using momentum to slam, sweep, and carve through enemies. Build custom ships, fuse upgrades into deadly combo builds, and battle solo or in co-op, where a shared energy beam can be a clutch save — or total chaos without coordination.
