BUBBLE BOBBLE SUGAR DUNGEONS STEAM DIGITAL PRE-ORDERS BEGIN
Paris, October 25th 2025 - Arc System Works Europe and Taito Corporation are pleased to announce today the opening of Steam and Nintendo Switch pre-orders for the action puzzle game BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons, ahead of its scheduled November 27 release. Players can pre-order the game on Steam by clicking the following link.
In addition, the Steam version's Digital Deluxe Edition is now available for pre-orders, featuring a digital soundtrack with 25 tracks from the game's music, plus a digital art book containing 113 pages of character design materials and concept art.

A new "BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons Producer Letter Vol. 4" has also been released, where Bub and the producer provide detailed game updates and live gameplay footage. These game skills along with the game's synopsis and character information (summarized below) are now available on the official website.
Game Skill Introduction
A new promotional video highlighting nostalgic skills that are usable in-game as well as new skills that expand gameplay options beyond bubbles.
Nostalgic skills from the first series return in BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons, such as "Fire Bubble" that attacks enemies with pillars of flame and "Water Bubble" that strikes with downward-flowing water. Numerous new skills also appear, like "Balloon Hair" for free movement through the air and "Rolling Attack" that sweeps away enemies with a charge. Not just bubbles, skills that aid movement and clear out enemies will support your adventure. Master various skills to break through paths normally impassable or take down tough enemies all at once.
Learned skills become usable by using items obtained through exchanges with materials collected from treasure chests. Using materials also allows you to enhance skills. The number of items you can carry into dungeons or castles at once is limited, so it's up to you to decide which skill items and useful items to bring, and how many. Furthermore, it's up to you to decide the order in which you strengthen your skills and Bub using the treasures you collect. Find the skills and strategies that suit you best!
Game Synopsis & Characters
BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons is the first step-up BUBBLE BOBBLE in the series. Bub, the bubble-spitting dragon, embarks on a grand adventure through bizarre dungeons that change with every step. Use bubble action to defeat enemies, move using bubbles as platforms, and collect treasure; utilize collected treasure to strengthen Bub, learn new skills, and advance deep into the stages; and explore the massive "Castle" stage where you map out and navigate maze-like connected rooms.
In the game's story, when Bub awakes... he finds himself in a strange laboratory. Suddenly, a mysterious figure named "Dolchen" appears and asks him to retrieve "treasures" sleeping in dungeons and castles. Bub, who loves adventure, can't stay silent when he hears the word "treasure." And so, the curtain rises on Bub's "bizarre" adventure! Featured characters in BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons include:
- Bub: A bubble-blowing dragon who loves adventure and is also fond of fruit and sweets. One day, while supposedly taking a stroll on Rainbow Island, he finds himself brought alone to a mysterious laboratory.
- Don Dolchen: A mysterious figure who summoned Bub from his original world, with a sweet tooth for confections. He seems to have a specific purpose for asking Bub to collect treasures... but what is it?
- Amy: A robot created by Dolchen who navigates Bub's adventures. Not only does she help out when trouble arises, she also chats like a friend.
BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons will be available on November 27, 2025 for players on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, and Steam. The game package will also include a port of the 1997 home console version, Bubble Symphony!
