Section 13 Brings Local Couch Co-op to Steam, Xbox and PlayStation
Research suggests in-person cooperation is the most effective way to fend off monsters
El Segundo, California – September 10, 2025 | A new company mandate by Ocean Drive Studio and Kakao Games has announced the official launch of local couch co-op for twin stick shooter Section 13 on Xbox and PlayStation and Steam.
S2P Corp has been assessing the effectiveness of its Response Team agents and is enforcing encouraging all employees on console to work together locally in couch co-op for increased effectiveness.
Be warned, despite the expansion in workforce, Section 13 is still a health-and-safety nightmare. Tasked with exploring the titular off-the-books paranormal containment facility, agents can expect vicious monsters lurking around any corner.
As S2P's finest specimens, all agents are provided with top-of-the-line weaponry and equipment, brain-altering Synaptic Enhancements, and extreme protection from bodily harm via the Death Nullification System. Enhancements are currently still being trialled and have not officially been approved for human use. S2P Corp does not accept responsibility for any personal trauma, grievous harm, or un-death.
