A new character joins the court of Sultan's Game in the latest update, now available on Steam!

Double Cross and 2P Games announce that Sultan's Game, their narrative card-based and resource management title, has received a new update introducing a brand-new character, improved English localization, and several quality-of-life enhancements. Meet the Mirror Visitor, a mysterious being capable of shifting its gender and form at will. Like any reflection, it becomes whatever you allow it to see. Sultan's Game is available now on Steam for $24.99 | €24.50 and to celebrate the release of this update, the game will be 15% off for a week.

MEET THE MIRROR VISITOR

Developed with the input of the community, the Mirror Visitor is a mysterious being of unknown origin that can shapeshift into whoever it encounters, whether a warrior or poet; and when attacked, it shatters into pieces. The new character adds a whole storyline to the game with different branches depending on the player's choices. The arrival of the Mirror Visitor to Sultan's Game will add a new layer of complexity to the game, allowing players to experiment in unexpectedly depraved ways. What are you going to reveal to a mirror that can adopt its traits?

The Mirror Visitor was born from a dialogue between the developers and the community in the earliest days of the game, yet remained unseen until now.  Its essence - personality, powers, and background, took shape through a series of cryptic yes/no questions posed by Double Cross to their fan base. "Is this character human?" "Does it dream of destroying everything in this world?" "Can it be killed?" Each answer whispered fragments of a greater mystery, slowly weaving the enigma that is Mirror Visitor.

This content update of Sultan's Game arrives alongside an improved English localization and many quality-of-life improvements, such as a new Gallery feature, where players can check their unlocked libraries.

 

ABOUT SULTAN'S GAME

Sultan's Game blends strategy and resource management with a dark, narrative-driven story. Players are forced to play the Sultan's twisted cards (Carnality, Extravagance, Conquest, and Bloodshed) to satisfy his cruel desires. Morality is never questioned: will you attempt to overthrow the Sultan, or indulge in his reign of terror?

You have seven days to fulfill the demands of each card—or face execution. In a world of betrayal, power struggles, and madness, survival is never guaranteed. To escape alive, you'll need to make impossible decisions along the way.
