Witchspire Invites Witches and Wizards to Survive a World of Magic and Peril
Envar Games debuts first original IP during the Future Games Show gamescom 2025 showcase
Stockholm, Sweden (August 20, 2025) – Envar Games has officially revealed Witchspire, bringing a world of magic to the survival-crafting adventure genre when it launches first on PC via Early Access in 2026. Witchspire is the debut title from Envar Games, the newly established game development division of Envar, a studio known for its co-development and creative contributions to hits like League of Legends, Overwatch 2, and Valorant.

Prepare to be enchanted by Witchspire's handcrafted world, where you and up to three friends will become entirely customizable characters, trapped in a mysterious world after activating the titular spire. Travelling by foot or by broom, you'll explore a land brimming with magic yet teeming with danger, encountering a number of wild and corrupted creatures, mystical structures, and secrets of ancient civilizations on your journey.
Take down and even tame these enemies with the plethora of upgradeable wands, trinkets, spells, spellblades and more at your fingertips. You can also bring backup in the form of friendly familiars, choosing 1 of 4 starter options, with many more in the wild to become part of the team. Battle wild creatures and befriend their essence to transforms them into familiars, before taking them into combat or making use of their skills to give your actions a boost or to get more out of the environment!
Outside of combat, Witchspire presents a welcome twist on base-building mechanics. Your base is a sanctuary and safe haven and building it is part of the fun. Conjure entire forests, call down comets of ore, summon phantom pickaxes, and gather resources with dazzling displays of magic. Once you've gathered all you need, enter astral projection to build your dream home; freely place and maneuver your way around structures. Once settled, enlist your familiars to aid you with household chores because teamwork makes the dreamwork, after all.

Choose Your Coven: Begin by choosing your Coven and gaining a specialized starting outfit and passive boost, before collecting and crafting additional stat and aesthetic-boosting outfits throughout the game.

Your Witch, Your Way: Define what sort of spellcaster you'd like to be, with an entire cosmos of customization options. Character levelling and the cosmic Luminaries tech tree allows for further upgrades to your abilities.

Safe and Sound: Design a sanctuary base for you, your friends, and your familiars to hang out in. Using astral projection to move around, you'll never need to build a makeshift ramp or cobble together a random staircase to get to hard-to-reach places or get your window or door placement just right.
Witchspire will be released first on PC in Early Access in 2026.
