Warsaw, 13.08.2025. Gaming Factory and Quest Craft are happy to announce an upcoming closed Steam playtest for Pizza Slice ». Between AUG 26th and SEP 16th any player, who signed up for the playtest will have a chance to try out a piece of the in-development slice of the game, completely for free

The sign-ups are open, starting today - August 13th, and will remain open until the end of the playtests. The only requirement for being selected is a powerful enough PC to run the game, however we will be adding players at our own discretion based on internal development priorities.  

The test build will include the basic loop of the game - getting ingredients, doing prep work, composing pizzas and running the restaurant. The players will have 5 days of in-game time to run their pizzeria. We want to make sure that the basis for the game is fun and solid before we expand the game with additional features later in development. We invite all interested players, who would want to help us with shaping the future of Pizza Slice to join.

• A cozy simulation - the above points make you sweaty? Relax and have-a-go! Pizza Slice at its heart is a romantic and humorous depiction of what it means to run a modern restaurant business.
• A portion for two - you will have your unique staff at the restaurant but why not invite a friend and play together? It's half the buzz and double the fun!

Playtest Schedule and important information

The playtests will be held exclusively on Steam, using the Steam's Playtest Feature.The players will have 5 in-game days to run the business to get a hang of the basic loop of the game. The playtest is focused only on the single player experience - there are no co-op features available during the playtest. 

Playtest sign-up: August 13th - until the end of the playtest.

Playtest begins: August 26th, 2025.

Playtest ends: September 16th
