Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today adds some of soccer’s all-time greatest players within PES 2016’s acclaimed myClub mode.
For the next week only, a special agent will make some of the world’s most respected players available for transfer. myClub users will be able to add Roberto Baggio and Filippo Inzaghi to their squad, alongside famed German goalkeeper Oliver Kahn and one of the all-time great left-backs in Roberto Carlos. They are joined by Portuguese legend Luis Figo, and each has been faithfully re-modeled and feature playing stats from the peaks of their respective careers.
The PES 2016 Legends update introduces two new special agents for a limited time. The first agent oversees the five aforementioned Legends, each of whom can only be purchased once. The second agent covers the five Legends and teammates in the teams they previously played for. Every player represented by the second agent is rated over 75 and represents players from the likes of Inter Milan, AS Monaco, Wolfsburg, Galatasary and Roma – a total of 30 teams in all.
Every myClub user will be given GP for use in-game, allowing them to secure the new agents at effectively no cost! However, the first agent, which can only be drawn once, will be available until Jan. 7, while the second agent, which functions like all the other agents and can be drawn as many times as you want, will be available from today until Christmas Eve - making swift moves essential if his enviable player roster is to be accessed!
myClub adds an incredible level of depth to PES 2016, and allows players to build a team of world stars. The myClub option has been massively improved since its debut a year ago with player level systems and key players exclusive to the mode added on an ongoing basis. Its premise is simple: players use points acquired through success in matches, or with myClub coins, to experience realistic club management to develop a squad. The myClub rosters and stats are updated on a weekly basis and players oversee every aspect of their squad’s development, from choosing their manager, recruiting coaches, developing play styles and building a long-term strategy based on their specific aims.
The Legends join myClub as KONAMI continues to develop and expand the popular mode. The new players are also be available to users of the free-to-play edition of PES 2016, exclusively available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users. The free-to-play game can be downloaded at no cost, and boasts an Exhibition Mode, online and offline play, full Training section and the popular myClub element. The free-to-play edition is compatible with all future gameplay and content updates throughout the entire PES 2016 season. Update files will be automatically implemented, ensuring rosters are up-to-date and that PES 2016’s many stars are aligned to the form of their real-life counterparts.
